Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to improve your experience and help us understand how visitors use our site. We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the website and shopping cart to function. Cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
  • Analytics cookies: We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate visitor behaviour — pages visited, time on site, referral sources. This data is anonymised and does not identify you personally.
  • Preference cookies: Remember your settings (e.g., currency, language) for a better experience on return visits.

Sharing Your Information

We share your information only with trusted service providers who help us operate our business, and only to the extent necessary to perform those services:

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal): Handle payment transactions securely. They have their own privacy policies and we do not store your full card details.
  • Shipping and fulfilment partners: Receive your name and shipping address to deliver your order.
  • Email marketing platform (e.g., Mailchimp / Klaviyo): Stores your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Analytics services (Google Analytics): Receives anonymised behavioural data to help us improve our website.

All third-party partners are bound by contractual obligations to keep your data secure and use it only for the purpose of providing services to us.

Data Security

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse:

  • Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption (the padlock in your browser) for all data transmitted between your browser and our server
  • Payment information is handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors — we never see or store your full card number
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorised team members only, on a need-to-know basis
  • We use reputable, security-audited third-party services for all data processing
No system is 100% secure

While we work hard to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately at hello@kidpossiblepress.com.

Children's Privacy

We do not collect data from children under 13

Our website is intended for adults — parents, caregivers, and educators — who purchase books and resources for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information to our website, please contact us at hello@kidpossiblepress.com and we will promptly delete that information.

Our books and materials are designed to be used by adults with children — we are committed to making every part of the KPP experience safe for families.

8

Email & Marketing

If you subscribe to our newsletter or purchase from our store, we may send you marketing emails about new releases, events, educator resources, and promotions.

  • Consent: We only send marketing emails to people who have opted in — either through our newsletter sign-up form or at checkout (with a clearly marked checkbox).
  • Unsubscribe: Every marketing email contains a clear, one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also email us directly to be removed.
  • Transactional emails: Order confirmations and shipping notifications are sent regardless of marketing preferences — these are necessary to fulfil your purchase.
  • No spam: We hate spam too. We will never share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.

We retain your email address for marketing purposes until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribing, we keep your address on a suppression list to prevent accidentally re-adding you.
